Royals vs. Yankees Prediction
Is the over the best bet for tonight’s Royals and Yankees matchup at 7:05PM ET?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Yankees are -165 money line favorites versus the Royals, who have odds of +150 to pull off the upset in the Bronx. With Jason Vargas set to face Michael Pineda in the pitching matchup, the over/under sits at 8 runs.

From Rotoworld: Vargas was tagged for six runs in four innings by the Yankees on Wednesday. Baseball’s best offense to date put a licking on its ERA leader. Vargas gave up more earned runs tonight than he did in his first seven starts combined (five), and his ERA jumped from 1.01 to 2.03. Vargas will get the Yankees again next time out, that one at Yankee Stadium. Mixed leaguers shouldn’t gamble on a bounce-back performance.
Pineda surrendered four runs — three earned — in six innings Wednesday in a win over the Royals. Pineda hasn’t dominated his last couple of times out, but he’s keeping it together and staying away from the big innings that have plagued him in the past. He’s now 4-2 with a 3.42 ERA. He’ll get a rematch with the Royals next week.
