Angels vs. Royals Prediction
Can the Angels pull off the upset tonight against the Royals when they visit Kansas City at 8:15PM ET?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Royals are -155 money line favorites versus the Angels, who have odds of +140 to pull off the upset. With JC Ramierez set to face Danny Duffy in the pitching matchup, the over/under currently sits at 9 runs.

Ramirez threw 2 2/3 innings in relief of Garrett Richards (biceps) last week and will now assume Richards’ spot in the rotation starting tonight. It will be Ramirez’s first career major-league start and his first start at any level since 2011. The 28-year-old hasn’t been sharp early in the season and he’s maxed out at 38 pitches, so it’ll be a reliever game at some point for the Angels.
Duffy went seven innings while allowing two runs on eight hits and two walks while striking out three Astros in a win last Saturday. In two starts this sason, Duffy has turned in two quality starts and now owns a 2.08 ERA to go along with a 1.12 WHIP over 13 innings of work.
Bet Tonight’s Angels vs. Royals Game
OUR PICK: The Royals have the distinct advantage in the pitching matchup but I just don’t trust Kansas City’s offense enough to lay -155 on the money line. The Angels are 5-1 in their last six games against the Royals and are 15-6 in their last 21 games dating back to last season. The Royals are also just 2-7 in Duffy’s last nine starts and 0-4 in his last four outings when he receives five days off in between.
