Cubs vs. Brewers MLB Prediction
The under has been a solid play in previous meetings between the Cubs and Brewers, who meet on Monday night in Milwaukee at 7:40 p.m. ET. That said, with the number sitting at only 8 runs for Game 1 of this series, is the under a safe play for bettors?

Chicago Cubs DFS SPIN
Javier Baez clobbered a solo homer on Sunday in the Cubs’ loss to the Pirates. Baez lifted a towering 410-foot solo shot to center field — his third round-tripper of the season — off Pirates’ starter JT Brubaker in the opening frame. Unfortunately, it represented the lone tally for the Cubs’ offense in this one. He struck out in each of his final three at-bats. The 28-year-old shortstop endured a brutal 2020 campaign at the plate, but his lightning quick hands and explosive bat speed remain firmly intact, and should fuel a strong bounce-back performance this season. He’s flashed a dynamic blend of power and speed so far, blasting three homers, while also chipping in three stolen bases across 35 plate appearances.
Milwaukee Brewers DFS SPIN
Brewers skipper Craig Counsell said after Sunday’s game that Christian Yelich is dealing with lower back tightness and is considered day-to-day. Yelich was pulled from Sunday’s game in the second inning because of the issue. Counsell wouldn’t rule out his superstar outfielder for Monday’s series opener against the Cubs on Monday night, so fantasy managers shouldn’t have too much to worry about here.
