Milwaukee Brewers DFS SPIN
Keston Hiura went 2-for-5 including his first home run of the season in Saturday’s big win over the Cardinals. This was a well-needed home run for Hiura, who was off to a catastrophic start at the plate. The power has never been in question for the 24-year-old, but he has struggled with contact over the last two seasons. Hiura is now batting just .107 on the season with 12 strikeouts in 28 at-bats, but hopefully Saturday’s performance is just what Hiura needed to get going.
St. Louis Cardinals DFS SPIN
Austin Dean came off the bench to go 2-for-3 with a home run, three RBI, and two runs scored during Saturday’s loss to the Brewers. Dean entered the game in the top of the third inning after Tyler O’Neill left with a groin injury and made the most of it. The three-run bomb he smashed off Josh Lindblom traveled 399 feet with an exit velocity of 107.1 miles per hour. It remains to be seen how long O’Neill may be out and if the 27-year-old Dean could be in for everyday at-bats next week.
