White Sox having problems vs. Royals
KANSAS CITY, MO (The Spread) – The White Sox have high hopes to compete for a playoff spot in 2015 but they continue to have issues versus the Royals.
After losing their opener 10-1 with Jeff Samardzija on the hill, the White Sox fell 7-5 to the Royals in Kansas City on Wednesday. They’re now 3-13 in their last 16 games versus the Royals and 1-5 in their last six games in Kansas City.
Fortunately for them, John Danks is on the hill and the team is 5-2 in his last seven starts versus the Royals. The under has also been a solid bet with him on the mound versus Kansas City, as the under is 5-1-1 in his last seven road starts versus the Royals.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Royals are -120 money line favorites over the White Sox, who are +111 money line underdogs. First pitch for today’s game is set for 2:10PM ET.
