Men’s Badminton Olympic Odds
The battle for gold in Men’s Badminton at the 2016 Summer Olympics looks to be quite competitive. Here is a look at the odds for the top contenders.
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Chong-Wei Lee is the favorite to win this event, as he has +165 odds. Other short odds to win are Dan Lin (+250) and Long Chen (+250). The Rio Olympics take place from August 5-21 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Lee competes for Malaysia. He has taken home the silver medal at the last two Olympic Games in this event and also finished second at the 2011, 2013 and 2015 World Championships. He is coming off a win in the 2016 Asian Championships.
Lin competes for China. He has won the gold medal in the last two Olympics Games. He also is a five-time World Champion winner, last doing so in 2013. He finished third at the recent Asian Championships.
Chen competes for China. He finished third at the 2012 Olympics. He is the 2014 and 2015 World Champion in badminton. He just recently finished second at the 2016 Asian Championships.
