Updated 2012 Grey Cup Odds
(The Spread) – The 2012 CFL Regular Season is only a few weeks old but already there’s a new favorite to win the Grey Cup.
Oddsmakers currently list the B.C. Lions as 11/4 favorites to win the 2012 Grey Cup while the Montreal Alouettes and Saskatchewan Roughriders are both 5/1, respectively. The Hamilton Tiger-Cats are 11/2, the Toronto Argonauts are 13/2 and the Calgary Stampeders are 7/1 to win this year’s CFL championship. The Edmonton Eskimos are 9/1 and the current long shots are the Winnipeg Blue Bombers at 11/1.
The Tiger-Cats opened as the 2012 Grey Cup champions back in May. They opened as 4/1 favorites while the Lions were 9/2. The Stampeders and Blue Bombers were both 5/1 back in May, while the Alouettes were 11/2. The Arognauts were 13/2, the Eskimos were 8/1 and the Roughriders were the long shots at 9/1.

Taking a look at the current standings, the Roughriders are 3-0 and sit alone atop the West Division standings while the Alouettes are in first place in the East Diviaion at 2-1. The Eskimos and Lions are also 2-1, while the Stampeders, Tiger-Cats and Arognauts are 1-2 and the Blue Bombers are 0-3.
Montreal’s Anthony Calvillo currently leads the league in passing with 942 yards qand Winnipeg’s Chris Matthews leads the CFL in receiving with 350 yards. Cory Boyd has the lead-league in rushing with 317.
