Alex Morgan and Carli Lloyd had the two goals in the win while Hope Solo made two saves in the shutout.

China earned a 1-0 win over Cameroon in the knockout stage. Wang Shanshan scored for them just 12 minutes into the game and China held on from there. Goalie Wang Fei made four saves in the victory.
