Spanish Grand Prix Odds
BARCELONA, Spain (TheSpread) – The 2011 Formula 1 Season heads to Spain this week for the running of the Spanish Grand Prix.

Sebastian Vettel comes into the race as the favorite according to online sports book Bodog.com. Vettel has 4/5 odds to win. Other short odds to win are Mark Webber (9/2), Lewis Hamilton (5/1) and Fernando Alonso (6/1).
Vettel has not won this event but he has won three of the four races this year and has not finished worse than second in any race. Vettel has finished in the top four in this race the last two years.
Webber is third in the current point standings. He is winless on the year but he has a top-5 finish in each of the four races. Webber won the race last year and he finished third the year before.
Hamilton is the only driver outside of Vettel to win a Formula 1 race this season. He has two other top-5 finishes as well. Hamilton finished in the top 3 of this race in 2007 and 2008, but was outside the top 5 the last two years.
Alonso is fifth in the current point standings. He has two top 5’s on the year. Alonso placed second in this race a year ago and was fifth in 2009.
