-Ty Conklin and Henrik Zetterberg, Red Wings. Conklin made 24 saves for his 11th straight home victory, and Zetterberg had a goal and two assists in Detroit’s 5-2 home win over Anaheim.
-Joe Corvo, Hurricanes, scored 5-on-3 goals 39 seconds apart in Carolina’s 4-1 home victory over Tampa Bay.
-Andrew Raycroft and Ryan Smyth, Avalanche. Raycroft made 28 saves, and Smyth had a goal and two assists in Colorado’s 4-1 victory in Washington.

Ottawa acquired center Mike Comrie and defenseman Chris Campoli from the New York Islanders on Friday for center Dean McAmmond and a first-round draft pick. Comrie was part of Ottawa’s run to the 2007 Stanley Cup finals before leaving to sign with the Islanders as a free agent that summer.

John Tavares had two goals and an assist in the London Knights’ 6-3 home loss to the Ontario Hockey League-leading Windsor Spitfires on Friday night. Expected to be the top pick in the NHL draft, Tavares has 47 goals and 40 assists in 48 games this season for Oshawa and London.
