NHL Betting Trends
Las Vegas
The Golden Knights are 22-10 in their last 32 games versus the Metropolitan Division. Las Vegas is 2-6 in its last eight games overall.
Washington
The Capitals are 5-1 in their last six games as a favorite. Washington is 4-1 in its last five games versus the Western Conference.
Prediction:
Washington is off to a fantastic first month-plus of the season, while Las Vegas is still searching for consistency. The Golden Knights have the talent and grittiness to slow down the Caps, however. Las Vegas has a number of players who have experienced plenty of winning and were part of the Stanley Cup runner-up to this Washington squad two seasons ago. I imagine they take every ensuing game against the Capitals pretty seriously. This is a good opportunity to take a shot on a plus money team
