Rangers vs. Capitals Gm 4 Odds
WASINGTON, DC (TheSpread) – The New York Rangers look to avoid being put on the brink of elimination when they meet the Washington Capitals tonight at 7:30PM ET in Game 4 of their series.
Washington is 51-29-12 on the season and 27-14-5 at home while New York is 58-25-7 overall and 30-12-2 on the road. Washington established a 2-1 lead in the series with a 1-0 win in Game 3 back on Monday night. New York has won four of seven meetings this season with Washington and the road team has won four of the last six between these two. The two have pushed or hit the under in all three games of the series.
According to online sports book GT Bets, Washington is the slight favorite at home tonight, as the Capitals are getting odds of -110 to win, while the Rangers are getting odds of +100 to prevail. The over/under total for the game has been set at just 4.5 goals.
Washington got a 1-0 win over the Rangers in Game 3 for its 2-1 lead. The Capitals were outshot 30-22 by the Rangers, but New York just couldn’t get the puck past Braden Holtby. He stopped all 30 shots to earn the shutout for the Capitals. Washington’s lone goal came from Jay Beagle, who scored 7:31 into the second period on assists from Andre Burakovsky and Troy Brouwer.
