Updated Stanley Cup Odds
The Stanley Cup Playoffs are down to their final eight teams. Here is an updated look at the odds to claim the Cup as we enter the second round.
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, the Washington Capitals are the favorite in the playoffs now, as they have +275 odds. Other short odds to win are the Pittsburgh Penguins (+425), the Anaheim Ducks (+550). The Oilers, Predators and Rangers each have +700 odds.

The Capitals are the top seed in the East and in the entire NHL Playoffs. Washington defeated the Maple Leafs in six games and will now face the Penguins, the second-best team in the playoffs. Pittsburgh disposed of the Blue Jackets in five games.
The other matchup in the East has the Ottawa Senators hosting the New York Rangers in a best-of-seven. The Senators defeated the Boston Bruins in six games in the first round while the Rangers topped the Canadiens in six games. Ottawa is listed with the longest odds to win the title, at +1200.
Bet on the Stanley Cup Playoffs
In the West, the Ducks will face the Oilers in the second round. Anaheim will have the home-ice advantage in the series. The Ducks swept the Calgary Flames in four games while the Edmonton Oilers beat the San Jose Sharks in six games to win their first series since 2006.
The second series out west has the St. Louis Blues taking on the Predators. The Blues will have the home-ice advantage despite having longer odds. St. Louis is listed at +850 to win the Stanley Cup. The Blues disposed of the Minnesota Wild in five games in the opening round while the Predators upset the top-seeded Chicago Blackhawks in a sweep.
