Oddsmakers from online sports book Sportsbook.com have made the Calgary Flames a –125 money line favorite over the Anaheim Ducks, who are +115 on the ML. The over/under total for this game opened at 5.5 goals.
According to latest NHL trends, the Ducks are 7-2 in their last nine games against the Flames, while the home team is 40-13-5 in the last 58 meetings overall. The favorite is also 21-7 in the last 28 meetings between these two teams, while the under is 10-4-2 in the last 16 meetings when the game is played in Calgary.

Speaking of the Islanders, Al Montoya has signed a one-year, one-way contract extension with the club. It appears as though the Islanders plan to enter the 2011-12 season with Montoya and Rick DiPietro as their goaltenders.
