He’s now just three wins away from tying Martin Brodeur’s record for most victories in a season. He’ll enter play tonight with a 45-9-4 record with a 2.21 GAA and a .922 save percentage. Holtby has been sensational.

As for Sergei Bobrovsky, he allowed three goals on 24 shots as the Blue Jackets fell to the Hurricanes 3-2 on Thursday. He’s been up-and-down since his return from an injury and is now 13-17-1 on the year with a 2.72 goals against average to go along with a .909 save percentage.
Columbus is just 1-5 in its last six trips to Washington and is winless in its last five road games. Look for the Capitals, who are 11-1 in their last 12 games following a loss of three or more goals, to win decidedly tonight.
