Wild vs. Senators Prediction
Improved play on the road has the Wild holding onto hope of making the playoffs. They'll visit the Senators tonight at 7:30PM ET.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Wild are -120 money line favorites over the Senators, who have +100 to pull off the slight upset. The total, meanwhile, sits at 5.5 goals.
Minnesota currently sits in eighth place in the Western Conference, tied with Colorado with a game in hand. After missing one game due to illness, goaltender Devan Dubnyk made 30 saves against Montreal on Saturday and while he's been in goal for the team's three-game winning streak on the road, he's posted a 1.30 goals-against average and a .953 save percentage.
Dubnyk has also won both of his career starts against the Senators with a 1.44 GAA and a .957 save percentage. The Wild are 6-2 in their last eight road games and have also won six of their last eight games coming off a win. On the other side, the Senators are just 2-5 in their last seven games and have dropped 13 of 18 following a victory.
