Stars edge Blackhawks
Dallas prevailed by a count of 4-3 Sunday at Chicago as it jumped out to a two-goal lead in the first period and then scored the game-winner with 11:05 left after the hosts tied it at 3-3. Jason Spezza provided the clinching goal on the power play. Alexander Radulov and Mats Zuccarello each tallied a goal and an assist in the victory. Radek Faksa also scored a goal. Anton Khubodin earned the win in net as he saved 44 out of 47 shots.
Golden Knights doubled up by Jets
Las Vegas lost by a count of 6-3 Friday night as it allowed two goals in each of the three periods to Winnipeg. Pierre-Edouard Bellemare, Shea Theodore and Jonathan Marchessault scored goals in the loss. Marc-Andre Fleury surrendered five goals on 28 shots.
NHL Betting Trends
The Stars are 2-5 in their last seven games versus the Pacific Division. Dallas is 1-4 in its last five games on one day of rest.
The Golden Knights are 5-2 in their last seven Tuesday games. Las Vegas is 1-5 in its last six games as a favorite.
Las Vegas is getting a little too much love from oddsmakers for a team that has been highly inconsistent. The Golden Knights are coming into this one in poor form, while the Stars have some firepower. It's not like Dallas is on a back-to-back either as yesterday was a rest day. The addition of Zuccarello helps the offense out considerably and I'll gladly take a shot on the Stars at this price against a struggling team.
