Blues set to host Canadiens


ST. LOUIS, MO (TheSpread) – The St. Louis Blues and Montreal Canadiens meet up tonight at 8PM ET in a battle of two 38-win NHL teams. Here is a look at the odds for this contest.

St. Louis is 38-17-2 on the season and 22-7-1 at home while Montreal is 38-16-3 overall and 17-9-1 on the road. St. Louis has won five of its last six against Montreal, but the Canadiens hold a 4-1 home win over the Blues this season back on Nov. 20. These two have pushed or hit the under in four of their last five meetings.

According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, the Blues are the favorite at home, as St. Louis is getting a money line of -150 to win. The Canadiens have been given odds of +130 on the road. The over/under total for the game has been set at 5 goals.

Montreal is coming off a win on Saturday, but the Habs are just 1-2 in their last three overall. The Canadiens have pushed or hit the under in four of their last five games. St. Louis is coming off a loss on Saturday to Pittsburgh and the Blues have lost two of their last three overall and three of their last five at home. The Blues have hit the over in two straight and in five of their last eight.
