NFL Week 17 Anytime Touchdown Predictions: Will James Cook reach pay dirt?

NFL Week 17 Anytime Touchdown Predictions NFL Week 17 Anytime Touchdown Predictions

Will James Cook reach pay dirt yet again for the Bills on Sunday? Will Terry McLaurin score a touchdown in the Commanders’ massive Sunday Night Football matchup with the Falcons? Read on for our NFL Week 17 Anytime Touchdown Predictions.

NFL Week 16 Anytime Touchdown Predictions Recap

I took a shot last week with Darnell Mooney (+200) of the Falcons to score a touchdown. He did not, but Amon-Ra St. Brown caught an 8-yard touchdown pass in what was a big second quarter for the Lions. Unfortunately, with the Titans falling behind big in the second half against the Colts, Tony Pollard was also held out of the end zone.

NFL Week 17 Anytime Touchdown Predictions: James Cook (-135), Bills, RB

This is not a bad price on Cook, who has already found the end zone 16 times this season. He’s tied with Derrick Henry of the Ravens and Ja’Marr Chase of the Bengals for most touchdowns in the NFL. Cook rushed 11 times for 100 yards last week against the Patriots. One of his runs went for 46 yards and a touchdown. He also added another touchdown through the air, which was his first receiving score since Week 2.

NFL Week 17 Anytime Touchdown Predictions: Terry McLaurin (+110), Commanders, WR

McLaurin caught five-of-six targets for 60 yards last Sunday against the Eagles. Did I mention he found the end zone? Because he found the end zone. The 32-yard touchdown grab was McLaurin’s 12 of the season, which trails only Ja’Marr Chase for most touchdown receptions in the NFL. McLaurin has a league-high 10 touchdown receptions on throws into the end zone, which accounts for 46.7% of the Commander’s end zone targets (second in the league).

The Falcons have rushed the passer better of late, but they’re still struggling to contain opponents’ top receiver.

NFL Week 17 Anytime Touchdown Predictions: Amon-Ra St. Brown (-105), Lions, WR

Why the f*ck wouldn’t I go back to the well with St. Brown? The dude is a touchdown machine. He has 11 on the season, which is more than any receiver in the NFL outside of the aforementioned Chase and McLaurin.

The Lions average 32.9 points per game, which is tops in the NFL. St. Brown is one of the team’s top scorers with 11 touchdowns on the season and he ranks in the top-5 in the NFL in receptions, yards and receiving touchdowns.

The Lions’ season ended by the hands of the 49ers in the NFC Championship Game last year – a game in which the Lions built a big lead in the first half. With San Francisco out of the playoffs and its defense up-and-down throughout the year, I expect St. Brown and Detroit to be plenty motivated to win big on Monday night.
