Broncos vs. Chiefs NFL Week 10 Odds

KANSAS CITY, MO (The Spread) – Two teams battling in the very average AFC West will clash in Kansas City on Sunday when the Chiefs host the Broncos at 1:00PM ET.

DENVER: Since taking over as the starter three weeks ago, Tim Tebow is now 2-1 and more importantly to bettors, is 2-1 against the spread. After failing to cover in four of their first five games, the Broncos beat the Dolphins (-1) and Raiders (+7) to cover in two of their last three games. Of course, Denver also lost 45-10 as a 3-point home dog against Detroit in Week 9, a game in which Tebow was ultra-disastrous. At 3-5 though, the Broncos are only a game behind Kansas City, Oakland and the underachieving Chargers in the AFC West.

KANSAS CITY: Apparently the Chiefs started to read their own press clippings. After a disastrous start to the season in which they were outscored 109-27 in three straight losses, Kansas City rallied to post four straight victories in October. But November didn’t start off well for Todd Haley’s Chiefs, as they lost to the previously winless Dolphins 31-3 at home in Week 9. Without Jamaal Charles (IR/knee), KC lacks explosives on offense but the Chiefs remain in the thick of things in the AFC West. Thanks to the Chargers’ current three-game skid and the Raiders’ two-game losing streak, at 4-4 the Chiefs are currently tied for first place. What a mess of a division.

TRENDS: The over is 8-2 in the last 10 meetings between these two teams in Kansas City and 6-2 in the last eight meetings overall. The road team is 4-1 against the spread in the last five meetings between these two teams and the underdog is 5-1 against the number in the last six meetings.
