Bell out, Steelers still favored
PITTSBURGH, PA (The Spread) – The biggest question about Saturday’s playoff game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Baltimore Ravens is the status of running back Le’Veon Bell.
The big injury for this game is to Bell, who suffered a knee injury against the Bengals last week. It was announced on Friday that Bell will be unable to play in this game. Bell was named the season MVP for Pittsburgh, a team that has the NFL’s leading receiver. Bell rushed for 1,361 yards and eight touchdowns while catching 83 passes for 854 yards and three scores. His presence on the field will certainly be missed.
According to oddsmakers from BetDSI, Pittsburgh is the slight favorite in this game, as the Steelers are getting odds of -3 points against the Ravens on Saturday. The over/under total for the game has been set at 45 points (View Matchup). These two will meet on Saturday at 8:15PM ET
The Ravens have some big injuries as well, as defensive tackle Timmy Jernigan (foot) and tackle Eugene Monroe (ankle) are both out for the game. However, the Ravens do get back defensive tackle Haloti Ngata, who missed the last four games of the season due to a suspension. Ngata has 31 tackles, two sacks and two interceptions on the season.
