According to current NFL odds and oddsmakers from online sports book Sportsbook.com, the Lions opened as a 3.5-point underdog in Week 16 against the Dolphins and that’s where the line current sits. With the way Miami has played at home this year, one would think that the public would push that line down to 3 before kickoff. The over/under total for this game is 41.5 after opening at 41.
The Rams opened as 2.5-point favorites over the 49ers but the line has since moved down to 1.5. It’s a possibilty that the public pushed the line down once they found out that Troy Smith was starting for San Francisco and not Alex Smith. The over/under total for this game is currently 39.5 after opening at 39.5.
The Jaguars opened as 6.5-point favorites over the Redskins on Sunday and now the line is up to 7. That said, the line could drop towards kickoff because Maurice Jones-Drew doesn’t look like he’ll be healthy enough to play. Mike Sims-Walker is also doubtful for Jacksonville. The over/under total for this game is currently 46 aftert opening at 45.5.
The line has not moved in the Titans-Chiefs game. It opened at Kansas City -5 and that’s where it currently sits now. The over/under total for this game is now 42.5 after opening at 41.5.
The Browns opened as 3-point underdogs this Sunday against the Ravens but the line has since risen. Baltimore is now a 4-point road favorite, while the over/under total is 39.5.
At some books, the Bears opened as a 2.5-point home favorite against the Jets but at most books, the line is now down to Chicago 1. The over/under total for this game is currently 36 points after opening at 36. With bad weather expected to hit the Chicago-land area, the total isn’t expected to drop.
The Bills opened as 8-point underdogs against the Patriots but at some books, the line has dropped to 7.5 (at other books, the line is as high as 9). The over/under total for this game opened at 44.5 but is now down to 44.
At most books, the line in the Chargers-Bengals game is 9 but you can find the point spread as low as 7.5 at some online books. The over/under total for this game is currently 43.5 points after opening at 44.5 The Chargers are dealing with some injuries that may have pushed the total down.
The line in the Colts-Raiders game hasn’t moved after opening at Indianapolis -3. But the total has jumped all the way up to 48.5 at some books after opening at 47. The Colts have struggled on the road this year and with the way the Raiders have lit up the scoreboard in recent weeks, this game could be a shootout.
Tim Tebow will make his second straight start when the Broncos host the Texans on Sunday. The line has gone from Denver +3 to +2.5, while the over/under total has gone from 48 to 49.5. There’s a chance that Andre Johnson will not play as he continues to battle an ankle injury.
Once it was announced that Aaron Rodgers would start against the Giants in Green Bay on Sunday, the Packers opened as a 3-point favorite and the line hasn’t moved since. The over/under total for this game is currently 43 points after opening at 43.
The Seahawks opened as a 6-point underdog at Tampa bay this Sunday and while the line breifly went up to 6.5, it’s back down to 6. The over/under total is currently 43.5 after opening at 42.5.
The Eagles opened as a 14-point favorite against the Vikings, who will start rookie quarterback Joe Webb on Sunday night. The line is all the way up to 15 at some books, while the over/under total is now up to 42.5 after opening at 36.5.
Depending on what book you look at, the Falcons are 2.5-point favorites over the Saints on Monday night. But some books have the line has high as 3 and as low as 2, so make sure you shop around depending on who you like. The over/under total is all the way up to 49 after opening at 47.5.
