With the 2010 NFC Championship Game between the Minnesota Vikings and New Orleans Saints just days away, let’s take a look at the trends for this big matchup.
Oddsmakers from online sports book Brobury Sports.com have made the Saints 3.5-point favorites over the Vikings on Sunday. The over/under total for this game has been set at 53 points.
Minnesota is 1-4 against the spread in its last five games on the road and 1-4 straight up in its lat five games on the road. But the Vikings are also 5-1 against the number in their last six games when playing New Orleans and 4-2 ATS in their last six games when playing on the road against the Saints.
New Orleans is 1-5 against the spread in its last six games and 2-4 ATS in its last six games at home. They’re 1-8 straight up in their last nine games when playing Minnesota, but 14-3 straight up in their last 17 games.
Some key total trends to keep in mind is that the over has covered in four of Minnesota’s last six games when playing on the road against New Orleans, but the total has gone under in four of the Saints’ last five games at home.
