The Vikings lost to the Bears 36-30 in overtime as an 8.5-point favorite in Week 16, while the combined score sailed over the posted total of 41 points. Adrian Peterson ran for 94 yards and two touchdowns in the loss.

Our free pick prediction for this game is the Vikings –9. The Giants’ playoff hopes were crushed last week and now they have to go on the road in a meaningless game and face a motivated Minnesota team. That spells disaster.
The Giants are 2-8 against the spread in their last 10 games and were absolutely crushed last week at home. Their defense is horrendous and as long as the Vikings don’t make mistakes and hand New York opportunities, Minnesota should cover.
