Bolts vs. Browns Pick
The San Diego Chargers look to continue their hot streak when they travel to Ohio to take on the Cleveland Browns at 3:05PM ET on Sunday.
The Chargers beat the Chiefs 43-14 as a 13-point favorite in Week 12, while the combined score went over the posted total of 45 points. Philip Rivers threw for 317 yards with two touchdowns for San Diego, while Antonio Gates caught seven passes for 118 yards and two touchdowns.
The Browns lost to the Bengals 16-7, but covered as 13-point underdogs in Week 12. The combined score fell under the posted total of 39 points, as Brady Quinn threw for 100 yards with a touchdown run for Cleveland. Receiver Chansi Stuckey also had four catches for 44 yards.
Oddsmakers from online sports book SPORTSBETTING.com have made the Chargers 14-point favorites over the Browns in Week 13. The over/under total for this game has been set at 43 points.
It’s nice getting 14 points at home with a team, but when that team is the Cleveland Browns it doesn’t matter much. The Browns are 5-10 against the spread in their last 15 games and 1-4 against the number in their last five games at home.
The Chargers score 28.4 points per game and are averaging 255.9 passing yards per contest. Cleveland is allowing 233.4 passing yards per game and 25.4 points per game so its going to have a tough time slowing down Rivers and San Diego’s offense.
The Browns might keep this one close in the first half, but they’re not going to score enough points in the end to cover the 14-point spread. Take San Diego and the under, which has hit in 5 of Cleveland’s last 7 games at home.
Our NFL Week 13 Free Pick for this matchup is: SAN DIEGO CHARGERS -14 and UNDER 43.
