NFL Steelers vs. Ravens Week 16 Picks & Predictions

The Steelers currently own the sixth seed in the AFC but with the Jets and Chiefs also in the mix, Pittsburgh needs a win badly today against the Ravens at 1:00PM ET.

With the Steelers fighting for their playoff lives and the Ravens long out of postseason contention, oddsmakers from online sports book RealBet.eu currently list Pittsburgh as a 10-point road favorite. The Steelers did open as a 10.5-point favorite and the number could climb back up with over 80% of public bettors currently siding with Pittsburgh.

Statically, there's no reason to back Baltimore. The Ravens have lost three straight games, are 4-10 on the year, and have nothing to play for. They've also lost consecutive home games 35-6 to the Seahawks, and 34-14 to the Chiefs in which they weren't competitive in neither contest.

This is a rivalry but the Ravens are completely undermanned. There won't be any let up from the Steelers because they're currently in a battle with the Jets and Chiefs for the two wild card spots in the AFC. How Baltimore is going to keep pace with Ben Roethlisberger, Antonio Brown and DeAngelo Williams is anyone's guess. They might be able to do it for a half, but the Steelers should eventually start rolling.
