Broncos vs. Vikings Week 11 Prediction
The Vikings are laying 10 points in a potential letdown spot against the Broncos on Sunday afternoon. Is Mike Zimmer’s squad still a safe play as a double-digit home favorite or will Brandon Allen keep the Broncos close?

Denver Broncos Fantasy Spin
DaeSean Hamilton (knee) is questionable for Week 11 against the Vikings. Hamilton said he “tweaked” his knee in practice Thursday but that he will be fine for Sunday’s game as the No. 2 receiver behind Courtland Sutton. The Broncos will be welcoming WR Tim Patrick from injured reserve in the near future, however, making Hamilton nothing but waiver wire fodder.
Minnesota Vikings Fantasy Spin
Vikings ruled out Adam Thielen (hamstring) for Week 11 against the Broncos. Thielen reaggravated his hamstring pull in Week 9 and will now be eyeing a Week 13 return after next week’s bye. That target date seems realistic. In the meantime, Stefon Diggs will battle with CB Chris Harris on Sunday with Olabisi Johnson operating as the No. 2 receiver.
NFL Betting Trends
Denver
The Broncos have covered the spread in four of their last five games but are just 7-15 against the number in their last 22 road contests.
Minnesota
The Vikings are 35-15-1 against the spread in their last 51 home games and are 4-1-1 ATS in their last six games when facing an opponent with a losing record.
Prediction
This is a potential letdown spot for the Vikings after they pulled off the small upset last Sunday night in Dallas. That said, I just don’t see Allen playing as well as he did two weeks ago against the Browns. The youngster now has to play on the road against a tough defense in a difficult enviorement and I see him struggling this time around. Kirk Cousins usually feasts on bad teams and while the Broncos defense has played better than the team’s record would indicate, I see Denver eventually tiring out if Allen can’t move the ball offensively. The Broncos are just 8-21-1 against the spread in their last 30 games when facing an opponent with a winning home record.
