Packers vs. Titans Prediction
Can the Green Bay Packers find a way to put a complete game together and get a win over the Tennessee Titans today at 1PM ET?
According to the oddsmakers at BetDSI, the Packers are favored on the road tonight, as they are getting odds of -3 points against the Titans. The over/under total is set at 49.5 points. The Titans have won three of the last four in this series, but Green Bay is 4-2 against the spread in the last six against Tennessee.
While Green Bay has found its offense, scoring at least 26 points in their last three games, the Packers are still just 1-2 in those three contests and just 4-4 on the season. They have lost back-to-back games and are 4-3-1 against the spread this season, but they are 2-1 ATS on the road. Green Bay is now averaging 24.8 points per game on the season. While Aaron Rodgers has thrown for 2,039 yards and 20 touchdowns, he doesn’t have a great run game to support him. Eddie Lacy is on IR, leaving Rodgers and the leading active rusher with 199 yards on the season. Green Bay could be getting James Starks back this week, which could give them a needed boost in the backfield. Defensively, Green Bay is giving up 23.4 points and 342.8 yards per contest. They have the top run defense in the NFL, giving up just 75.8 yards per game.
Tennessee is coming off a 43-35 loss at San Diego last week to fall to 4-5 on the season. The Titans are now just 3-6 against the spread on the year and 1-3 ATS at home. Known for physicality, Tennessee is still giving up 25.1 points and 373.3 yards per game. The Titans have the 25th-ranked passing defense, allowing 276.9 yards per game through the air. Offensively, Tennessee is averaging 24.1 points and 388.3 yards per game. The Titans have a solid run game, led by DeMarco Murray, who has 807 yards and seven touchdowns this year. Marcus Mariota has bloomed as of late and now has thrown for 2,187 yards and 17 touchdowns with 8 interceptions and 235 rushing yards. He could be without one of his top lineman, as Jack Conklin is questionable for the game with an elbow injury.

Many see this as another letdown game for Green Bay, but the Packers know the urgency they need to have right now. They sit third in the NFL North standings and can’t afford to keep losing with some big road games ahead. Rodgers has found some chemistry with his receivers in recent weeks and that should continue against this Tennessee defense. Starks can also add another dynamic to make them less predictable. Look for Green Bay to pick up the win.
