NFL Week 7 Las Vegas Odds
How do Las Vegas oddsmakers size up the Week 7 action in the NFL this weekend? Let’s take a look.
The Packers will host the Bears this week on Thursday Night Football and after opening as high as -10, Green Bay is now down to -8 at the MGM Mirage in Las Vegas. The total has also dropped, moving from 47 down to 46. The Bears are just 2-9 against the spread in their last 11 games versus the Packers but the road team has covered in six of the last seven meetings.
On Sunday the suddenly struggling Eagles will host the only undefeated team remaining in the NFL, the 5-0 Vikings. After opening as a 1.5-point favorite, Philadelphia is now -2.5 at nearly every sports book in Las Vegas. The total, meanwhile, opened at 40 and that’s where it remains. Minnesota has failed to cover in five of its last seven games versus Philadelphia.
Also on Sunday, the Falcons will try to rebound from its second loss of 2016 when they host the Chargers at 4:05PM ET. Atlanta opened as a 6-point home favorite but the line was bet up to 6.5 in Vegas. The road team is a perfect 4-0 against the spread in the last four meetings between these two teams while the under is also 4-0 in the last four meetings. The total for this matchup sits at 53 points at the MGM Mirage.
The Steelers are 7-point home underdogs versus the Patriots with Landry Jones set to start for the injured Ben Roethlisberger, while the Cardinals are 2-point home favorites versus the Seahawks on Sunday Night Football. The Broncos will also look to break a two-game losing skid when they host the Texans on Monday night and are 7-point home favorites in Vegas.
