Chiefs vs. Raiders Pick
Can bettors expect a high-scoring game in Oakland on Sunday when the Raiders host the Chiefs at 4:05PM ET?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Raiders are now a pick’em versus the Chiefs after opening as a 2-point home favorite earlier in the week. As for the total, the number opened at 46.5 but has been bet up to 47.
The Chiefs are now 2-2 on the new season after getting throttled 43-14 by the Steelers in Week 4. The defense was gashed on the ground by Le’Veon Bell (18 carries, 144 yards) and threw the air by Ben Roethlisberger (22-of-27, 300 yards, 5 touchdowns). Kansas City has failed to cover the spread in three of its first four games to start the season.
The Raiders have won three straight games after beating the Chargers 34-31 last Sunday. Derek Carr was 25-of-40 passing for 317 yards with two touchdowns and an interception, while Amari Cooper caught six-of-12 targets for 138 yards and a touchdown in the win. The Raiders failed to cover as a 3.5-point home favorite, however, and are now 3-2 at the betting window in 2016.

OUR PICK: The over is 4-1 in the last five meetings between these two teams and is 15-5-2 in the Raiders’ last 22 home games. The over is also 4-1 in Oakland’s last five games overall and is 18-7-1 in its last 26 games coming off a win. On the other side, the over is 5-1 in the Chiefs’ last six games after allowing more than 350 total yards in their previous game. With both of these teams struggling at times defensively this year, look for the combined score to sail over the total on Sunday.
