Raiders vs. Ravens Prediction
Will the Oakland Raiders and Baltimore Ravens light up the scoreboard when the two meet up today at 1PM ET?
According to the oddsmakers at BetDSI, the Ravens are a slight favorite at home in this game, as Baltimore is getting odds of -3.5 points against the Raiders. The over/under total for the contest has been listed at 46 points. Baltimore has won four of the last five meetings with Oakland and the two are 3-1-1 with the over in those five meetings.
The Raiders moved to 2-1 last week with a 17-10 win at Tennessee. Oakland is 2-1 with the over on the season as the Raiders are putting up big numbers on offense, averaging 26.7 points and 437.3 yards per game. Derek Carr is leading the way with 867 passing yards and five touchdowns. The run game has been pretty good as well, producing 445 yards through a slew of backs. While Oakland can move the ball pretty well, the defense is giving up yards at will. Oakland is allowing an average of 26.3 points and 480.3 yards per game, including 344.3 passing yards per contest.
Baltimore moved to 3-0 on the season last week with a 19-17 win at Jacksonville. The Ravens have hit the under in two of their three games as their defense has been stellar. Baltimore is giving up just 14.7 points and 274.3 yards per game on defense, allowing only 188.3 passing yards per game. That has been helpful as the offense is putting up just 19 points and 340.3 yards per game. Joe Flacco has thrown for 774 yards and three touchdowns, but also has four interceptions. Flacco hasn’t had the luxury of much of a run game, as the team has just 247 yards rushing in three games.

Oakland is again making a trip East and that should lead to some struggles for Carr and the Oakland offense. Baltimore is tough enough as is, but playing the Ravens at home will be even more challenging. Though the Raiders are a poor defensive team, Baltimore just doesn’t seem to have it figured out to really light them up. Look for this game to be a bit sloppy and lower scoring.
