Rams vs. Cardinals Pick
NFC West rivals clash in Arizona on Sunday in what should be a relatively low-scoring game between the Rams and Cardinals at 4:25PM ET.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Cardinals are 7.5-point favorites versus the Rams after opening as an 8.5-point favorite. As for the total, the number opened at 43.5 but has been bet down a full point to 42.5.
LOS ANGELES: The Rams are now 2-1 on the year and 2-1 against the spread after upsetting the Bucs 37-32 as a 3.5-point underdog last Sunday. Case Keenum was 14-of-26 passing for 190 yards with two touchdowns and one interception while Todd Gurley rushed 27 times for 85 yards and two scores in the win.
ARIZONA: The Cardinals are now 1-2 on the season and 1-2 against the spread after losing outright to the Bills last Sunday as a 5-point favorite. Carson Palmer was 26-of-50 for 287 yards with zero touchdowns and four interceptions, while David Johnson rushed 19 times for 83 yards and two scores. The Arizona defense was shredded on the ground, allowing 110 yards rushing to LeSean McCoy and two touchdowns, while Tyrod Taylor rushed nine times for 76 yards and a score as well.
OUR PICK: The under has cashed in 11 of the last 16 meetings between these two teams and 8-3 in the Cardinals' last 11 games overall. The under is also 6-0 in Arizona's last six home games, is 12-3 in the Rams' last 15 games overall, and is 39-18-1 in Los Angeles' last 58 road games. The Rams found pay dirt last week for the first time in three games but they'll find it difficult to score against a pissed-off Cardinals team that has underachieved to this point.
