Week 2 NFL Las Vegas Odds
With Week 1 of the NFL season now in the books, it’s time to look ahead to Week 2. Here is where Las Vegas oddsmakers have the betting odds for the upcoming NFL week.
Week 2 will begin in Cincinnati where the Bengals will host division rivals Baltimore at 8:20 p.m. ET. The Bengals opened as a 3-point home underdog for this matchup but according to oddsmakers from Las Vegas sportsbook MGM Mirage, Cincinnati is now a 1-point favorite. The total, meanwhile, sits at 44 points for this matchup of 1-0 AFC North squads.
Moving to Sunday, the Redskins opened as a 5-point favorite to beat the visiting Colts but the line has moved up to 5.5 at the MGM Mirage. In Atlanta, the Falcons will host NFC South rivals the Panthers at 1:00 p.m. ET and despite beating Dallas last weekend, Carolina is a 6-point underdog. The Chargers are also heavily favored to beat the Bills at -7.5 despite the game being in Buffalo.
One of the marquee matchups this week will take place at Lambeau Field where the Packers will host the Vikings at 1:00 p.m. ET. The game opened as a pick’em but the Vikings are now favored by 1.5 at the MGM Mirage and William Hill. The total for that game has already been bet down from 47 to 46 or 45.5 depending on which sportsbook you view.
The line for the Houston-Tennessee game has not been released because the status of Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota is uncertain. The Steelers, meanwhile, are a 5.5-point favorite to beat the Chiefs despite tying the Browns in Cleveland last week. The Jets, meanwhile, are 3-point home favorites to beat the Dolphins after their impressive beatdown of the Lions in Detroit on Monday night.
Also on Sunday, the Bucs are 3-point home dogs against defending Super Bowl champ Philadelphia even though Tampa Bay burned the Saints (and most public bettors) last week as a 10-point road dog. Speaking of New Orleans, the Saints are 8.5-point home favorites to beat the Browns at most Vegas sports books.
In the late action, the Rams are 13-point home favorites to beat the Cardinals and the 49ers are 5.5-point favorites to topple the Lions at 4:05 p.m. ET. In a rematch of the AFC title game, the Jaguars are 2-point home dogs to beat the Patriots at 4:25 p.m. ET and the Broncos are favored by 6 to beat the Raiders at 4:25 p.m. ET.
On Sunday night, the Cowboys are 3-point home favorites to beat the Giants, who lost their home opener to the Jaguars last week. In fact, both teams lost their season openers last week, as the Cowboys fell to the Panthers in Charlotte.
Finally, on Monday night the Bears will host the Seahawks at 8:15 p.m. ET from Solider Field. Chicago blew a multiple touchdown lead to Green Bay last Sunday night but are listed as a 3-point favorite over Seattle, which lost by a field goal to the Broncos in Denver in Week 1.
