Public Betting Information
Public bettors are backing the road team in this matchup, grabbing the Eagles and laying the point at a 57% clip.
OUR PREDICTION: The Redskins lost one of the better pass-rushers in Trent Murphy to a season-ending ACL tear and while adding Jonathan Allen in the first round this year was huge, he's still just a rookie. I expect this defense to struggle this season. Meanwhile, the additions of Torrey Smith and Alshon Jeffery should make Carson Wentz more confident to throw downfield this season. Lane Johnson's (10-game suspension) return is also a huge boost for the Eagles offensive line. The over is 5-1 in the last six meetings between these two teams and I expect that number to improve to 6-1.
