Todd Gurley NFL Draft Prop Odds
CHICAGO, IL (The Spread) – After months of speculation of where he’ll be drafted, will Georgia running back Todd Gurley be a top 15 pick in the 2015 NFL Draft?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, Gurley’s draft position has been set at over/under 12.5. That means if he’s selected in the first 12 picks, his draft position would fall “under” the total, while his draft position would go “over” the total if he’s taken with the No. 13 pick or later.
Gurley tore his ACL in 2014 but there have been nothing but positive reports about his rehab and it would appear as though his draft stock is sky-high heading into Thursday’s first round. There are some that believe he could go as high as the No. 8 overall pick to the Atlanta Falcons.
TFY Draft Insider’s Tony Pauline also reports that the Dolphins will “quickly swipe up” Gurley if he makes it to the No. 14 pick. That seems to be his ceiling, as the Jets, Bears and Browns could also be interested in him as well. Gurley is one of the several wildcats that will be taken somewhere in the first 32 picks as he continues to draw comparisons to Adrian Peterson and Marshawn Lynch for his physical running style.
