GLENDALE, AZ (The Spread) – A former Super Bowl MVP, will Tom Brady have another memorable performance today in Super Bowl XLIX?
According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, Brady has been given 2/1 odds to be the Super Bowl MVP while his over/under for passing yards has been listed at 260.5 and his odds of completions has been set at 24. His over/under for TD passes is listed at 2. Super Bowl XLIX will be played today from University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona at 6:30PM ET.
Brady had another stellar season for the Patriots, throwing for 4,109 yards and 33 touchdowns with just nine interceptions. He averaged 248.4 yards per game during the regular season. In the playoffs, Brady threw for 367 yards and three touchdowns against the Ravens in the Divisional playoffs and then threw for 226 yards and three touchdowns against the Colts in the AFC Championship.
Of the 18 games Brady has played in this season, he has thrown for at least 261 yards in nine of them, completing 24 passes or more in eight of them. He has also had multiple touchdown passes in 12 games this season. Brady will be facing a very tough Seattle defense. The Seahawks have the top-ranked passing defense in the NFL this season, allowing just 185.6 yards per game. Brady met the Seahawks two years ago, throwing for 395 yards on 36 of 58 passing with two touchdowns and two interceptions.
