Player Snapshot
Josh Reynolds was taken in the fourth round of the 2017 NFL Draft and finished with 11 catches for 104 yards and a touchdown as a rookie. As previously mentioned, he filled in for Kupp as the Rams’ No. 3 receiver and saw a big bump in production this past season. He finished with 29 receptions on 53 targets for 402 yards and five touchdowns in the 2018 regular season.
Josh Reynolds Super Bowl Prop Predictions
Josh Reynolds Total Receptions: O/U 3.5
Josh Reynolds Total Receiving Yards: O/U 48.5
Josh Reynolds Total Receiving Yards on First Reception: O/U 12.5
Josh Reynolds Longest Reception: O/U 19.5
Josh Reynolds Will he Have a RUSHING Attempt: Yes (10/11); No (5/6)
Josh Reynolds Will he Score a FIRST HALF Touchdown: Yes (15/4); No (2/11)
With C.J. Anderson and Todd Gurley doing most of the damage against the Cowboys in the Divisional round, Reynolds finished with just one catch on four targets for 19 yards. In the NFC Championship versus the Saints, Reynolds saw seven targets, caught four passes for 74 yards. He also had a rushing attempt in each of those games, so perhaps a prop bet on “Yes” for whether he’ll having a rushing attempt makes sense, although he only had two rushing attempts in the regular-season so buyer beware.
The two props I like for Reynolds is the over in receptions and receiving yards. Assuming Anderson and Gurley don’t take the game over and Super Bowl 53 lives up to its shootout potential, then Reynolds should catch between 3-4 passes and should get over 48.5 yards. In his last five games (including playoffs), Reynolds went over 48.5 yards in three of those games.
