INDIANAPOLIS (AP) -The Hanover-Butler football game scheduled for Saturday has been canceled because of the severe storm that left the Hanover area without power and water.
The game was to have been played in Indianapolis. But the storm that moved through southeast Indiana on Sunday forced Hanover to cancel all classes and extracurricular activities, including sports events, until Sept. 22.
The athletic directors of the schools spoke Monday and said the game will not be rescheduled.
