Alabama capped the nation’s consensus top recruiting class with two highly rated defensive tackles and a running back.
Those signing day pick-ups helped wrap up recruiting Wednesday for the Crimson Tide, winner of three of the last four national titles.
Coach Nick Saban says it was important that Alabama didn’t lose any of its commitments.
The result was a 25-player class that featured recruits from 13 states.
Five-star defensive tackle A’Shawn Robinson announced his choice on Wednesday. So did four-star defensive tackle Dee Liner and four-star running back Alvin Kamara.
Saban targeted pass rushers, running backs and defensive backs.
The class included top linebacker Reuben Foster, No. 1 tight end O.J. Howard and five-star players in receiver Robert Foster and tailback Derrick Henry.
