Arkansas hires Enos to be OC
FAYETTEVILLE, AR (TheSpread) – In a surprising move, Dan Enos has decided to give up his head-coaching gig with Central Michigan to become the new offensive coordinator at Arkansas.
The move was announced on Thursday morning by Arkansas and its head coach Bret Bielema. Enos had spent the last five years as head coach of the Chippers, going 26-36 during his time with the program. Enos followed coaches Brian Kelly and Butch Jones at CMU.
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Arkansas currently has 40/1 odds to win next season’s College Football Playoffs. The Razorbacks join Texas and Texas A&M with 40/1 odds. Ohio State is the favorite to win it all next season at 5/1 odds.

Arkansas is coming off a 7-6 record last season with a 2-6 mark in SEC play. Arkansas closed the season winning four of its last six, including a 31-7 win over Texas in the Texas Bowl. Arkansas had four of its losses come by seven points or less. Bielema has spent two seasons at Arkansas, going 10-15 overall and 2-14 in the SEC in those two years.
