FSU Season Odds
Following a convincing win in the Champs Sports Bowl, the Florida State Seminoles believe that 2009 could be their year.

College football coaching legend Bobby Bowden led the Seminoles to a 9-4 overall record last year and a 42-13 blowout win over Wisconsin in the 2009 Champs Sports Bowl.
Offensively, FSU will return quarterback Christian Ponder, running back Jermaine Thomas and wide receiver Taiwan Easterling. Ponder racked up 2,006 passing yards for the ‘Noles last season, while Thomas amassed 482 rushing yards and Easterling 322 receiving yards.
After losing Everette Brown, Neefy Moffett, Derek Nicholson, Toddrick Verdell, Tony Carter and Myron Rolle, the Seminoles have some big holes to fill defensively heading into this season. Dekoda Watson (46 tackles), Kevin McNeil (4 sacks), James Robinson and Patrick Robinson all return.
Oddsmakers from online sports book SBGGLOBAL have opened Florida State’s odds of winning the 2010 BCS National Championship at 21/1. If the defense can gel and be as productive as it was last year, the Seminoles will definitely compete in the ACC next year and who knows after that. How well the defensive front four plays will be the key, however.
