College Football Betting Trends
Iowa State
The Cyclones are 2-5 against the spread in their last seven non-conference games, but 19-7 ATS in their last 26 games following a loss.
Notre Dame
The Fighting Irish have covered the spread in four straight games as a favorite and in four of their last five games on a neutral field.
Prediction:
It’s been a month since Notre Dame took the field, so their momentum could be lost, but I feel like the way the Irish finished the season should carry over into today’s bowl game. They were able to dominate some strong teams and I think they can dominate Iowa State as well. Their two losses this year were to Georgia and Michigan on the road. I don’t see Iowa State being that caliber of opponent. The Cyclones can be at their best, but they don’t show that consistently enough to pick them in this game.
Camping World Bowl Prediction: Notre Dame -3.5
