The over/under total for the contest is listed at 54.5 points. Virginia Tech has won 10 straight over Virginia, but the Cavaliers are 3-1 against the spread in the last four meetings.

Virginia Tech is coming off a 34-31 win at Notre Dame to move to 8-3 on the season. The Hokies are also 5-2 in the ACC and 5-6 against the spread, going 1-3 ATS in their last four. Virginia Tech should be up for this game, as they are playing an in-state rival and can remain one of the top teams in the ACC. The Hokies should have a ground game that will trample over Virginia’s defense. The Cavaliers aren’t going to be able to move the ball much on the Hokies either, so look for Tech to cover with some ease.
