South Florida looks to get on track

USF is coming off a 20-17 loss at home to Cincinnati. The Bulls have lost back-to-back home games to the likes of Cincinnati and Temple. USF is now just 4-6 on the year, 2-4 in the AAC, 6-4 against the spread and 5-4 with the under.

South Florida hasn’t had a great offense this year, as the Bulls are putting up just 23.3 points and 355.3 yards per game. Defensively, USF is giving up 26.4 points and 367.7 yards per contest. Jordan McCloud has thrown for 1,268 yards and 12 touchdowns in limited action for the Bulls while also rushing for 250 yards and four scores. Jordan Cronkrite is the team’s leading rusher with 686 yards and four touchdowns while Mitchell Wilcox is the top receiver with 25 catches for 338 yards and five scores.

Memphis on 4-game win streak

The Memphis Tigers have won four straight coming into this game thanks to a 45-27 win at Houston last weekend. The Tigers are now 9-1 on the season, 5-1 in the AAC, 7-3 against the spread and 8-2 with the over.

Memphis has put up one of the best offenses in the nation this year. The Tigers are averaging 41.5 points and 481 yards per game. Defensively, Memphis is giving up 25.9 points and 380.9 yards per contest. Brady White has thrown for 2,852 yards and 28 touchdowns this season to lead the offense while Kenneth Gainwell has rushed for 1,166 yards and 12 scores. Damonte Coxie is the top receiver with 48 catches for 765 yards and seven scores.

College Football Betting Trends

South Florida

The Bulls are just 6-13 against the spread in their last 19 conference games and 3-8 ATS in their last 11 home games.

Memphis

The Tigers are 18-7-1 against the spread in their last 26 conference games and 5-2 ATS in their last seven games following a win.

Prediction:

Memphis has won three of the last four in this series, but the Bulls are 3-1-1 against the spread in their last five with the Tigers. USF hasn’t been able to consistently produce offense throughout the year and the Bulls will need a lot of offense in order to compete today. Memphis is going to score. The Tigers have put up at least 42 points in four straight and seven of their last 10 games. That should continue today against a USF team that doesn’t have a lot of inspiration right now. I think the Bulls get overwhelmed early and won’t be able to recover.

College Football Week 13 Prediction: Memphis -14.5
