Public Betting Trends

According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetNow.eu, the Gators are 6.5-point favorites to beat the Seminoles. The total, meanwhile, sits at 49 points. As of this writing, 75% of the public betting tickets wagered on this matchup are on the Gators.

Florida Gators

Florida redshirt sophomore QB Feleipe' Franks completed 19-of-27 passes for 274 yards and three touchdowns while rushing for 21 yards and a score in Saturday's 63-10 mashing of Idaho. Franks and company handled the now-FCS-dwelling Vandals with ease, dropping 28 points in the first quarter and 21 in the second to account for the bulk of this blowout's scoring. This was the redshirt sophomore's best individual performance since late September. For the campaign, he is up to 20 touchdown passes. The Gators will close out their regular season in a date with Florida State next weekend.

Florida State Seminoles

Florida State redshirt junior QB Deondre Francois completed 19-of-39 passes for 322 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions in a 22-21 victory over Boston College on Saturday. The completion percentage was ugly, and the two turnovers are less than ideal. That being said, Francois made a few big plays, particularly a 74-yard touchdown pass to Tamorrion Terry with only 1:49 on the clock to give the Seminoles a 22-21 lead. Francois's offensive line is still a disaster, but there have been just enough moments that have reminded us of how good he was a few short years ago. He'll look to lead the Seminoles to another upset win over Florida next Saturday.

Betting Trends

The over is 5-1 in the Gators’ last six games after allowing less than 20 points in their previous game.

Florida State

The over is 4-0 in the Seminoles’ last four games after accumulating more than 280 yards passing in their previous game.

The under is 9-2 in the last 11 meetings between these two teams in Tallahassee and is 4-1 in the last five meetings overall. The under is also 20-6 in the Gators’ last 26 games against the ACC, is 12-4 in their last 16 games in November and 5-1 in their last six in their last six games after allowing less than 275 total yards in their previous contest. On the other side, the under is 19-7 in the Seminoles’ last 26 games versus SEC opponents and I can’t see FSU scoring much on this stout UF defense.

College Football Prediction: Georgia Tech/Georgia under 59.5
