Washington vs. Oregon St Spread Pick
The Washington Huskies are laying a massive number as a home favorite today at 4:30 p.m. ET against the Oregon State Beavers. Will the 2-8 Beavers stay within the 33 points or is the better bet to take the Huskies in what should be a blowout?

Public Betting Trends
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetNow.eu, the Huskies are 33.5-point favorites to beat the Beavers. The total, meanwhile, sits at 58 points. As of this writing, 68% of the public betting tickets wagered on this matchup are on the Beavers.
Oregon State Beavers
Oregon State redshirt senior QB Conor Blount (concussion) has passed concussion protocol tests and will practice this week as the team prepares for its November 10 game against Stanford. Oregon State HC Jonathan Smith said Monday that Blount cleared concussion protocol ahead of the team’s Nov. 3 game against USC and would have been available if needed. With the redshirt senior given a clean bill of health, Oregon State has a decision to make regarding the spot on the depth chart behind starter Jake Luton. Jack Colletto, Oregon State’s most mobile quarterback, started the Oct. 27 win over Colorado and served as Luton’s backup in the loss to USC.
Washington Huskies
Washington senior QB Jake Browning completed 16-of-27 passes for 194 yards with a touchdown and also rushed for a score in a 27-23 victory over Stanford on Saturday. Browning started out red-hot; completing 7-of-9 passes to start the game, and opening the contest with a rushing touchdown. He threw his touchdown pass on the next drive, but after that, Stanford pressured the heck out of Browning, and he was forced to throw the ball away more often than he’d like. Still, a nice bounceback for the senior after the (probably unjustified) benching last week. Browning gets a week off before taking on Oregon State on November 17.
Betting Trends
Oregon State
The Beavers are 1-6 against the spread in their last seven games overall.
Washington
The Huskies are 1-4 against the number in their last five home games.
Prediction
Washington’s defense is stout but its offense has been stagnant all season so I don’t feel compelled to lay 33.5 points on the Huskies, regardless of who the opponent is. Speaking of which, the Beavers are 6-2 against the spread in their last eight games in Seattle and the road team in this series is 4-1 against the number in the last five meetings. The Huskies, who are winless at the betting window in their last five games overall, are overvalued here.
