According to oddsmakers at BetNow.eu, Clemson is favored on the road, as the Tigers are getting odds of -17 points against Florida State. The over/under total is currently listed at 51 points. The public betting for this game currently has 70 percent going on Clemson on the road. Clemson still unbeaten

The Tigers are coming off a dominant 41-7 win over N.C. State last week to improve to 7-0 on the season. Clemson is also 4-0 in the ACC, 3-4 against the spread and 4-3 with the over/under. They have alternated the over/under all year and are coming off an under last weekend.

Clemson has been pretty dominant on both sides of the ball this season. Defensively, the Tigers are allowing just 13.4 points and 266.3 yards per game. Their pass defense is giving up just 158.6 yards per game. Offensively, Clemson is putting up 42 points and 522.4 yards per game. Travis Etienne is leading the offense with 800 rushing yards and 14 touchdowns while Trevor Lawrence has thrown for 1,176 yards and 12 touchdowns with just two interceptions.

FSU picking up steam

Despite a disappointing loss to Miami where it blew a big lead, Florida State has won three of its last four, including a 38-17 win over Wake Forest last weekend. The Seminoles are 4-3 on the year, 2-3 in the ACC, 3-4 against the spread and 4-3 with the over. FSU has hit the over in three of its last four.

Florida State is holding opponents to just 24 points and 371.7 yards per game. Their run defense is allowing only 100.4 yards per game. Offensively, FSU is putting up 25.1 points and 364.1 yards per game. Deondre Francois has thrown for 1,859 yards and 13 touchdowns, but also has six interceptions. Cam Akers is the leading rusher on the team with 460 rushing yards and three touchdowns.

College Football Betting Trends

Clemson

Clemson has hit the under in eight of its last 10 games following a win of more than 20 points and in nine of its last 12 against a winning team.

Florida State

FSU is 23-9-1 with the under in its last 33 conference games and in seven of its last 10 games in October.

Prediction:

With this being the rivalry it is, I expect Florida State to play with a lot of enthusiasm at home. That should take the most effect on defense. I look for FSU’s defense to give Clemson some problems with the run game. The Tigers won’t be able to stream roll the Seminoles on Saturday. I do expect the Clemson defense to continue to do what it does, dominate. FSU doesn’t have the execution and consistency to move the ball against the Tigers.
