Missouri on a roll

The Missouri Tigers are riding a five-game win streak right now following a 38-27 win at home over Ole Miss. Missouri is 2-0 in the SEC, 4-2 against the spread and 4-2 with the under.

Missouri has been led this season by its defense. The Tigers are giving up just 15.8 points and 262.7 yards per game this year. On offense, Missouri is putting up 38.8 points and 474.3 yards per contest. Kelly Bryant has settled in nicely with Missouri, throwing for 1,575 yards and 12 touchdowns this year to lead the offense. He has spread the ball out very well, as six different receivers have over 190 yards. Larry Rountree III is the leading rusher with 557 yards and seven touchdowns while Cale Garrett is leading the defense with 39 tackles and three interceptions.

Vandy struggling

Vanderbilt has been struggling this year, falling to 1-5 on the season following a 34-10 loss to UNLV at home last weekend. The Commodores are 0-3 in the SEC, 0-6 against the spread and 4-2 with the under.

There isn’t much to like about Vandy, as the defense is giving up 36.8 points and 483.2 yards per game this year, while the offense is putting up just 18 points and 339.7 yards per contest. Ke’Shawn Vaughn has been leading the Vandy offense with 607 rushing yards and five touchdowns, but he is questionable to play this weekend due to an undisclosed injury. Riley Neal has thrown for 1,102 yards and four touchdowns at QB while Kalija Lipscomb has 31 receptions for 343 yards and two touchdowns.

College Football Betting Trends

The Tigers are just 8-1 with the under in their last nine games on fieldturf and 5-1 with the under in their last six games following a win.

The Commodores are 5-2 with the under in their last seven home games and 13-6 with the under in their last 19 games in October.

These two have hit the under in five straight meetings and I can see it being six this weekend. The Tigers have a pretty stout defense that will face a struggling Vandy offense. The Commodores have been lucky to get to 20 points most nights. Missouri isn’t a bad offense, but the Tigers haven’t been on the road much. I think they are going to have a few struggles going away from home. Vandy has nothing to lose, so the Commodores may play a little better at home.
