Indiana is coming off a 27-0 win over Charleston Southern last week to improve to 3-2 on the season. The Hoosiers are 0-2 in the Big Ten 2-3 against the spread this season. Indiana is averaging 29.6 points and 408.4 yards per game on offense thus far. Richard Lagow and Peyton Ramsey have combined to throw for 1,298 yards and 10 scores. Ramsey has also run for 171 yards while Morgan Ellison is the leading rusher with 358 yards and two touchdowns. Michigan is coming off a 14-10 loss at home to Michigan State to fall to 4-1 on the season and 1-1 in the Big Ten. The Wolverines are just 2-3 against the spread, but did cover in their lone road game. Michigan has a great defense, allowing just 13.6 points and 213 yards per contest. Offensively, Michigan is putting up 27.2 points and 385.8 yards per game. Starting QB Wilton Speight will be out indefinitely with a back injury he suffered at Purdue. John O’Korn has filled in, but has thrown for 505 yards with four interceptions and just one touchdown. Ty Isaac is leading the offense with 365 rushing yards and one score.

Bet on Michigan vs. Indiana

Michigan looked really bad last week, turning the ball over and getting beat up front on both sides of the ball. That is the issue with the Wolverines, they tend to look good until they meet up with teams that can match them up front, then things fall apart. Luckily for the Wolverines, I don’t see Indiana being one of those teams. The Hoosiers have a respectable defense, but I think Michigan will be able to control the line of scrimmage and navigate scoring drives. The U-M defense should also win up front against the IU offense and keep the Hoosiers from having much success moving the ball.
