Utah Utes Game Notes
Cameron Rising completed 19 of 25 passes for 199 yards and three touchdowns in Saturday’s 42 -16 win over Oregon State. He also rushed seven times for 73 yards and a touchdown. Rising and the Utes took a while to get going but turned on the gas in the second half to pull away from the Beavers. The Utes won this game on defense, as neither team was especially sharp defensively. For fantasy purposes, we’ve come to expect Rising as a quarterback who can deliver solid rushing yardage weekly, but he won’t wow you with his passing stats. Rising’s three touchdowns is definitely a sign in the right direction for his future fantasy potential.
UCLA Bruins Game Notes
Dorian Thompson-Robinson completed 24 of 33 passes for 315 yards and three touchdowns in Friday’s 40-32 win over Washington. He also rushed 10 times for 53 yards and a touchdown. Thompson-Robinson won the duel against the nation’s most productive passer. The one-two punch of Thompson-Robinson and Zach Charbonnet pummeled the Huskies throughout, and there’s now little debate that the Bruins deserve to be ranked. Overall, Thompson-Robinson’s result marked one of the best performances by a quarterback this season.
